A new tool will be added to Photoshop ‘soon’ that will make it easier to replace skies in images. It’s called the ‘Adobe Sensei-powered Sky Replacement’ feature and Adobe’s Product manager Meredith Stotzner has put together a quick sneak peek tutorial on how it works.
The new tool works by identifying sky automatically which it then masks and a new sky can be added in its place. You can add your own sky or select from one of many ready-made skies provided in a collection from Adobe.
Not much else has been said about the new Photoshop AI Sky Replacement tool but we expect more to be released at the virtual Adobe MAX Creativity Conference taking place in October 2023.
Hit ‘play’ on the video above to watch Meredith Stotzner talk through the new tool.
